Thank you to all members and guests who attended our October Meeting this past Saturday!

RIMQG Board Member Elections:

We will vote on our 2015 Board at the November Meeting. If you would like to get more involved in the Guild, please contact Carole Ann at rimodernquiltguild@gmail.com or Tara Coogan at ewehavemeinstitches@gmail.com to get specific position information and to get your name on the ballot.  This is a great way to support our growing Guild and make new friends.

Quilt Bee Update:

We are onto month 3 of our Modern Quilt Bee. It's fun to see the blocks each month. If any participants have pieced or finished their quilts, bring them in to share!

Show and Tell:

Everyone loves to see each other's projects and get inspired by our fellow Modern Quilters. Here is the inspiration from October......

Tara completed her 100 Block Quilt! Gorgeous!

New attendee, Sangeeta shared her Ladybug quilt and patterned table topper!

Kathryn gave us a peek of her B&W challenge "homage to this fabric"

Pat created this quilt from a Dragon Bones class. Slash technique using batiks!

Meredith's hand-stitched space shuttle embroidery was inspired by the Astronaut Start Block Challenge.

Celine's beautiful tote bag includes a "modern" button.

Jodi has named this beauty "Fiona's Quilt"!

Tara Celeste's Baby Quilt with bikes was a hit! (so was her little cutie)

Jenn's sewing machine name tag is really cute!

Dragonfly Quilt Shop is offering 10% off to all RIMQG Members through 2014! Thanks Kathryn!

EXTRA! If you are a member of RIMQG, you are a member of The Modern Quilt Guild. If you haven't done so in a while, take a few minutes and check out all the wonderful resources provided on the "Mother Ship's Website", including webinars, patterns, interviews, and all around great inspiration.

Next Meeting: Saturday, November 1st, 2:00 pm, Cumberland Public Library
